Eid-el Kabir (Babbar Sallah)

Image
(Arabic: عيد الأضحى‎ ‘Īdu l-’Aḍḥā) "Festival of Sacrifice" or "Greater Eid" is a holiday celebrated by Muslims (including the Druze) worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. Eid al-Adha is the latter of two Eid festivals celebrated by Muslims, whose basis comes from the Quran.[1] Like Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha begins with a short prayer followed by a sermon (khuṭba). Eid al-Adha annually falls on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja (ذو الحجة) of the lunar Islamic calendar. The festivities last for three days or more depending on the country. Eid al-Adha occurs the day after the pilgrims conducting Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat. It happens to be approximately 70 days after the end of the month of Ramadan. Insight on History Four thousand years ago, the valley of Mecca was a dry and uninhabited place. According to Islamic history, th

Ethical Hacker in the making

Image
I began a self study to obtain certification in Ethical Hacking , Its a most known knowledge to all Computer Science Students in any college world wide, but use the knowledge for legal works and things only. I started with a tutorial downloaded online by my Friend (Nabbo247), he is far ahead of me in the tutorials, but I am doing what I can to finish it before school resumes. Ethical Hacking is defined HERE. Since my project and major is Project, it will be a disgrace to my profession not to know how to carryout a man-in-the-middle attach using any opensource software. To do that, there are alot of softwares that can help you learn and explore how these things work. Automated WEP Decryptor is the title of my Project, I am making research daily to find new things related to WEP decryption, I will be posting on the title my Project Notes, Its one of its king because alot of Networks are WEP encrypted, I have already said bye to Internet Bills because I've got my project by my side.

I finished reading the book today, and I learnt how to develop good managerial skills and also know how to deal with people and encourage them to use what they have to their own benefit. I gained alot from this book and also call on anyone interested to get a copy and enjoy it, My Toastmasters Leadership track requires me to have a 10-15 mins speech, and I will be talking on mentoring during my Advance Leadership Speeches, I will add to what I have on ground with the knowledge obtained from this book. Alot of life illustrations were given, also how the methods applied have helped people realize their true potentials. The current economic downturn forces people into different phases of life, people are loosing jobs, some are dropping out of college and some are getting paid less, Companies are downsizing and the cost of Education is getting more expensive. I have passion for having my own IT business, and as I have just a semester left on my school's calendar, I began to research on how to write a Business Plan for an IT company, I began to think of what type of IT Entrepreneur I will be, Is it an Internet Marketing Company, IT Training company, IT product and Services or what, these are the questions that are always in my mind for the last one week. I got alot of articles, Samples and write-ups on Business plan for Companies, especially Technology based. I wrote down my Ideas of what I would like to do and then took a Print out of the things I found on the internet. I began to read the Sample Business Plans and then match them with the Ideas i wrote on the other paper. After that, I concluded o

Towards a successful career in Information and Communications Technology.

Starter's Guidelines for Persuing Expert Network Certifications After many emails from youngsters and juniors asking how I started my career and pursued a successful career in Information and Communications Technology. Finally i was able to devote some time to write something as a guideline to pursue a successful career in networks engineering. First things first, there are a lot of misconceptions getting into the Systems / Networks Engineering, most of the fresh graduates are asking me repeatedly the same question that "is it worthy enough to pursue a career in it after graduation and do certifications, will it be a good career with growth and progression?" The simple answer is, it depends. There are several specialization paths that could be followed such as "Systems Engineering" , "Network Engineering" , "Security Administration" , "Storage Area Networks Engineering" , "Voice over IP Administration" and "Wireless N

The state of our Universities

Image
Nigerian Universities in the 21st century are still using the Outdated curriculum that was used since the inception of some of the universities. It no became very difficult for our Nigerian Graduates to compete in the Job market with other graduates from other part of the world, why is this so? I think most of the problems Nigerian Universities are facing is funding, Lack of Infrastructure for Research and Development, Research Grants are not made available for most of our Research assistants, and lots more. How do you think we can save our universities from their current state?
