I cant recall when last a Nigerian made a call with his Landline, when last a fax to and out Nigeria was sent. People depend on Internet Cafe's for Internet access, Very bad call services using the GSM, Poor Interconnectivity within Networks and lots more Wahala from the so called best GSM services in Africa. As BPE prepares to sell NITEL in parts, Nigerian Government should note that it was the same company that was once the best in the Region before the coming of GSM and other PSTN networks. Other countries that are really giving more attention to their Telecommunication Agencies, Nigeria because of GSM (translated in Hausa as Ga Sabuwar Matsala) meaning Having New Problem, now wants to turn back to one of our best brands we ever had in the history, Most of the people that led to what NITEL is now have their own PSTN companies through NCC (Nigerian Communication Commission). In Nigeria, No network company have the Infrastructure NITEL had before it was dragged to what it is now,

I had a great weekend, I slept and played futsal, read more on the exams and did the usual stuffs at CTU. Last week, there was an invitation by my Project supervisor on Web 2.0 workshop at Unimas (University Malaysia Sarawak) coming up on 28th July '09. As am typing now, I am in a lab at Unimas and undergoing some Hands on lab stuffs. I was surprised to get to see the MDEC (Multimedia Development Corporation). As Ms Sentha use to say, "I need to get momentum for speaking", I attended two toastmaster's meeting within a day, its part of picking momentum, I actually I was trying to manage some stress by listening to other people talk about their life experiences, it was such an amazing way of managing stress, I will suggest that to any body, It was awesome participating n the extraordinary table topics in both meetings, I really did well, even though there were areas of improvement given by the evaluators. Today marks the day I received the certificate as Runner-up for the impromptu speech contest organized by the college two weeks ago. I also got some bucks as a motivation to do more, thanks to English Dept of Inti for the kind gesture. Project documentations have been completed, I now have some time to finish my assignment and read more for the Final Exams.
