EULOGIZING SARKIN AYYUKA, ALHAJI ABUBAKAR IBRAHIM JALINGO

Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihir-raji'un,
Kullu nafsin za'ikatul Maut (every soul shall test death)

Allah ya jikan Sarkin Ayyuka, it is indeed with great sadness to announce the passing of Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Jalingo (Sarkin Ayyuka), the father of late Senators Aisha Jummai Alhassan (Maman Taraba), Abdulaziz A. Ibrahim and the Current Deputy National Women Leader of the APC; Hajia Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim (Anty Zee).

He was my host during my National Youth Service (NYSC) in Taraba, I am honored to have met a man that epitomizes everything a Gentleman man is, a father with the Intellectual Capacity that an impact for more than 50 years, a humble and kind Father of all, not only your family, Community, State and Nation suffered this loss, we will dearly miss you, Iya!

The Muri Emirate, Taraba State and the Nation has lost a Statesman who has impacted positively in to the lives of many across every part of the country. The Legacy of Sarkin Ayyuka will be forever etched in the history of Muri Emirate, Taraba State, Nigeria and the World. It is a lifelong record of selfless patriotic service to our Nation, State and Community.

I will always remember our visit to him after every Juma'a (Friday) Prayer in company of his Sons and Grand Children. He inspired me to learn and doy best in the discharge of my duties at my Place of Primary Assignment while challenging me to learn the local language; Fulfulde, even if it is 'Sedda-Sedda' meaning Small-Small and I did thanks to Sarkin Ayyuka.

As he is laid to rest, the angels will definitely announce his arrival saying 'Lahira tayi Babban Bako' (A Special Guest has joined those that departed before him).

May Allah forgive Iya, overlook his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdausi and give us and the entire Dynasty of Sarkin Ayyuka the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
