The exit of the Katsina State’s Head of Civil Service.

A Member of the Nigerian Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies,

Always being the first in the office,

Working tirelessly towards achieving the day’s goal ensuring the best from all Civil Servants,

Only takes break when its prayer time,

Prior to the ascension to the Head of Civil Service,

The ever-smiling administrator served as Permanent Secretary in many Ministries,

From the Governor’s Office during the Shema-led administration,

To the Department of Higher Education where he served with distinction and dedication,

Agriculture and Natural Resources Ministry got to see how courageous and selfless Idris Usman Tune is,

His last appointment before ascending to become the Head of Civil Service was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Finance,

His appointment as Head of the State Civil Service was one of Governor Masari’s best decision since becoming the Executive Governor of Katsina State,

There is no single person that did not praise the appointment of an Extraordinary Katsina State Indigene,

Idris Usman Tune’s appointment ushered in a new era of Civil Service in the State,

To those who know him as an administrator, they affirm what an excellent administrator he is and one of the Best ever,

To those who worked with him described the quintessential leader as being Prudent and Transparent,

To those that worked with and alongside him said he is a Master of Civil Service,

Idris Usman Tune is truly an embodiment of what a 21st century Civil Servant is,

My State’s Outgoing Head of Civil Service is tireless, dedicated, committed and has a unique style of Leadership,

The Technology Savvy Head of Service is indispensable to any administration he worked under,

He is a Leader that rises to the occasion anytime and anywhere,

He is a Leader all Civil Servants will follow no matter how strong the wind blows,

He is a Leader that doesn’t ask for support, he inspires it into all Civil Servants in the State,

You can spot him in a crowd of thousands, with his High Taste of Fashion and Swag,

Many look up to him for motivation while inspiring thousands of youths,

He is a rare breed Katsina State is blessed to have,

As you bow out, we thank Allah for bestowing Katsina State with a maverick and an Intellectual,

We pray to Allah to keep you in Good Health as your join the Pensioner’s Club,

He has now joined the Hall of Fame of Great men that held the Position,

The most exalted Office in the State’s Civil Service,

Occupied by Great Men with interest in seeing Katsina State Progress and develop,

Great men that laid a solid foundation for the development of the State, Idris Tune brought with him an accumulated wealth of experience acquired over a long career in civil Service,

Idris Usman Tune is playing his role towards making Katsina State Great,

A career that span years while mastering and serving the State,

These are the experiences and Qualities that made him who he is now,

He is by One of the Best Civil Servants Katsina produced and the by far the Best Head of Civil Service,

The Super Head of Civil Service that served as Permanent Secretary in more ministries than any other Bakatsine,

The State Government, Katsinawa and all Civil Servants wishes you Happy Retirement,

You have left an indelible mark in our dear State,

You have served with Humility, Integrity, Excellence and above all Distinction.

Your name will be engraved in the marble of History.

History will remember you, Alhaji Idris Usman Tune.
