As GLO1 Lands in Lagos, what effect will it have on the NIgerian Graduates?

Few days after Internet celebrated its 40th Birthday, Globacom Nigeria Limited has finally pulled its Submarine cable that traveled all the way from UK. Is it time for Nigerian to say Bye-bye to Low Internet connectivity, High tariff on local and International calls? that was the question I ask a friend of mine while he was reading the news on Thisday online Newspaper.

I hope this new thing that just happened to the Nigerian ICT sector is a sign of Job offer to our ICT graduates. Its time for them to experience what their colleagues from other parts of the world are telling them about, its time for us to stream youtube videos without waiting for buffering, its time our universities become fully online, have full services that will enable our university students to benefit from it.

I want to pay my sincere thanks to the company for a job well done.
