MEET HON AHMAD DAYYABU SAFANA, SPECIAL ADVISER ON SPECIAL DUTIES TO THE 10TH ASSEMBLY SPEAKER

As President Tinubu hit the ground running from day One, so was the Speaker of the 10th Assembly; RT Hon. Tajuddeen Abbas, PhD (Iyan Zazzau). The first few decisions the Speaker will make will be the appointment of his Team, a Team of Staff that will work with and alongside him in the discharge of his duties as the No 4 Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria no matter how strong the wind blows and Hon. Ahmed Dayyabu Safana is one important Person that will play a vital role in the political dispensation of the House of Representatives from June 2023 - June 2027.

The Speaker and Honorable Ahmad Dayyabu Safana has being close allies since they became colleagues in the Green Chamber. It is without any doubt, the best decision Rt. Hon. Tajuddeen Abbas,PhD (Iyan Zazzau) made as the new Speaker by appointing competent persons to help run the affairs of the Office of the Speaker, One of such appointments is that of the Special Adviser on Special Duties to the Honourable Speaker.

In his early career in Politics, Hon. Ahmad Dayyabu Safana represented Safana/Danmusa/Batsari Federal Constituency of Katsina state from 2007-2011 and 2015 – 2023 under the platform of the APC. He was the Executive Chairman of Safana Local Government from 1999 -2007, Member, Katsina State House of Assembly where he served as Chief Whip until he was elected in a Bye Election in 2007 to replace the Late Dr. Aminu Shuaibu Safana who died during the reign of President Ummaru Musa Yaradua. Hon Ahmad Dayyabu Safana is a graduate of the 'Ummaru Yaradua School of Politics'. That was how he ascended to the top of the food chain in the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Honorable Ahmed Dayyabu Safana holds the traditional Title of Garkuwan Safana, Magayakin Dangi and Dan Iyan Ruma.

He is a dedicated, courageous and skillful politician whom many spoke highly of his Intellectual Capacity, Professionalism and deep understanding of the Nation's Political terrain.
