Saturday is Presidential Election!
Last week, Nigeria saw the best election ever conducted by INEC, the foreign observers gave them a thumb-up for doing a great job, there was malpractice in some places, but it was not like before, INEC managed to minimise it.
Tomorrow, Nigerians will go to polls to elect their new President, there are four major Candidates in the race, the incumbent President, Goodluck Johnathan of PDP, Nuhu Ribadu of ACN, Muhammadu Buhari of CPC and Ibrahim Shekarau of ANPP.
For the last year, Nigerians have been calling for change, and I think this is the time we make this change happen. I want to talk about this change in this election, Nigeria with 43 million Internet users, alot of people are on facebook, Twitter and BB Messenger talking about this election. During the National Assembly election, Nigeria were reporting live the happenings of the entire process from all over the nation, Any polling unit that have finished counting, people immediately post or tweet the result online for others to see, that is change. as joe Trippi said " There is only one tool, one platform, one medium that allows the American people to take their government back, and that's the Internet." its not only America, Nigerians are looking forward to seeing change. All the presidential candidates adopted the social media tools to keep intouch with the teeming youths in the country and abroad. INTERNET is a wildfire and I believe that!
Whoever wins the presidential election has a big mess to clean! We have listened to them in the Debate and have their promises documented, its time to now VOTE, and I urge all to vote for their conscience!
Nigeria shall be great again!
