Are you secured on Social Networks???

The issue of what you post on your social networking page is very important in today's world, I was chatting with a friend in Nigeria and he told me that he just saw my picture on Vanguard Newspaper, I asked him whether he is sure its my picture he saw, fortunately, it is the same picture on my MSN messenger, I asked him to help me send the picture, He snapped it with his phone and emailed it to me. After downloading the picture, I saw my picture and with a name "Ahmed Dasuki" attached to it, I then asked, when did Sadiq Safana become Ahmed Dasuki?
I got to know that they copied the picture from my facebook page and used it to get money for themselves.

I would like to offer an advice, please know the type of picture you post online, because you dont know the next person that will see it, employers now go to these social networking sites to check on applicants profile to see the kind of things going on on their profiles, which means what you post on facebook might determine your future in the labor market.
Until then, sit tight and think through the kind of pictures and status updates you post on your profile...
REMEMBER: "what happens on Facebook, goes everywhere"!!!

omo diz is serious.
Why did they use your photo at all? Are they publishing the photos of "who is who" in Nigeria? You could contact them. this sounds serious.
