I woke up with this title in mind. With three Universities in Katsina, A Polytechnic and many higher institutions, I use to wonder if at all we are going to have a Breakthrough in Technology, this is the time. I support my discussion with the following Points: To have a tech incubator or Technology boom in a city/state, location of Educational instutitions is important, In Katsina, We have two universities ( UMYU and Katsina University ) and a polytechnic located all along the Dutsinma Road. Collaboration between the Institutions what will make Katsina State a Technology hub in the region. I kept on asking my friends with Business background what a business model is, I got so many explanations on this issue, I then began to search the Internet for Answer and that was when I came across this definition that says: "A business model describes the mechanisms of how an organisation or company creates value and derive revenue." In other words, it represents how an organisation makes or intends to make money.
